This pivotal role supports the Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities (TENCAP) HOPE contract, focusing on leveraging national space, cyber, and intelligence capabilities to develop robust, cost-effective warfighting solutions.

About Air Force TENCAP

The Air Force TENCAP initiative is a critical component of our national defense, mandated by Congress to support rapid acquisition for tactical and operational warfighters. This program spearheads the incorporation of reconnaissance and intelligence technologies into tactical military operations, collaborating extensively with the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, National Laboratories, and other key stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are on the hunt for creative, innovative, and highly motivated individuals to enrich our team. Your role will involve strategic planning and tactical implementation of Big Data Analytics, orchestrating the full lifecycle of data onboarding, ETL, and analysis. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects, addressing and solving complex problems that are yet to be identified by the general market.

Key Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science. Relevant experience may compensate for educational background.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, .Net, or Java.
• Experience with Apache open-source products like NiFi, Kafka, Zookeeper, and Spark.
• Strong grasp of advanced statistical techniques and concepts.
• Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies.

Desired Capabilities:

• Instructional experience in a formal setting.
• Background in Space, ISR, Cyber, or SOF domains.
• Leadership experience in managing small teams.
• Familiarity with SAFe agile processes and Linux Systems Administration.

Location and Security Clearance

This position is based 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. Applicants must hold an active TS/SCI or Active TS with T5/SSBI clearance obtained within the past two years.

Compensation Package

Salary range for this role is $108,360 - $162,540, commensurate with experience and skills. KBR may offer additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, commissions, or other incentives.
