Your Role & Mission: Senior Machine Learning Engineer

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on our Intelligence team, you will build and productionize ML models and smart algorithms across a range of Apollo products. Your role is critical in leveraging Apollo's massive scale data to understand and predict user behaviors, optimizing their experience throughout their product journey.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable Machine Learning systems.
• Continuously improve the Machine Learning stack at Apollo.
• Enhance user personalization through intelligent system design.
• Implement robust data pipelines and maintain algorithmic solutions.
• Productionize data and ML workflows with automated features.
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong documentation skills and a knack for asynchronous knowledge sharing.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact with stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, breaking down complex problems and delegating tasks.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
• A strong sense of integrity and a relentless curiosity.
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in CS, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative fields.
• Over 6 years of experience in Machine Learning or AI system development.
• Solid experience with cloud-based model deployment and management.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with ML tools like TensorFlow and Scikit-learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in a relevant field with a focus on machine learning.
• Experience in Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud Platform, and related technologies.
• Skilled in natural language processing, deep learning, and related areas.
