Role Summary

As a Senior Oracle Developer, you will engage throughout the software development lifecycle, performing a range of tasks such as creating, designing, coding, debugging, maintaining, testing, implementing, and validating applications. You'll leverage your broad understanding of various languages and architectures to analyze existing applications or develop new ones, recommending changes and developing application implementation plans in a dynamic development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop basic to moderately complex code using front-end and/or back-end programming languages across multiple platforms, collaborating with business and technology teams for internal and external client software solutions.
• Design, create, and deliver program specifications for code development and support on projects with a comprehensive understanding of application/database interactions.
• Analyze, modify, and develop moderately complex code and perform unit testing for concise application documentation.
• Conduct testing and validation for code changes, implementing corrective measures and proposing alternatives as needed.
• Participate in client-facing meetings, joint ventures, and vendor partnerships to define solution approaches.
• Support leadership in designing and enforcing business/infrastructure application standards to ensure compliance, data accuracy, and PCI security adherence.
• Estimate project costs and resource requirements, assisting with on-the-job training and providing guidance to fellow software engineers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
• Advanced knowledge and use of one or more front-end/back-end languages and a moderate understanding of the other end, including but not limited to modern programming languages used in the enterprise, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data, including experience with IBM Rational Tools.
