Senior Research Engineer - Image/Video Enhancement

As a senior research engineer at InnoPeak Technology, you will be involved in developing image/video enhancement algorithms for mobile devices.

Duties and responsibilities

· Collaborate in an interactive environment to develop state-of-the-art deep learning algorithms for image/video enhancement.

· Participate in the design, training, evaluation, optimization, and deployment of deep learning models for mobile applications.

Requirements

PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a Master’s degree with 3~5 years of professional experience.

· Solid mathematical foundation in machine learning and deep learning.

· Demonstrable record of developing challenging deep learning algorithms and applications.

· Prior experience in creating deep learning algorithms for image/video enhancement, such as image/video denoising, image/video super-resolution, image/video HDR, image/video deblurring, and so forth.

· Proficiency in digital image/video processing, feature extraction, feature matching, and motion estimation.

· Practical experience with at least one deep learning framework, such as TensorFlow, .

· Expertise in Python, C/C++, Java, and other programming languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in deploying deep learning algorithms on mobile platforms.

· Proficiency in deep learning model quantization.

· Extensive knowledge of smartphone architecture.

· Proven record of Android development.

· Publications in high-ranking international conferences and journals, such as CVPR/ECCV/ICCV/NeurIPS/ICLR/PAMI/IJCV, and others.

The US-based range for this full-time position is $100,000-$300,000 + bonus + long-term incentive benefits. We tailor our salary ranges according to role, level, and location.
