We are currently seeking a dynamic Software Engineer - BigData (AWS/Databricks/Spark) Developer to become an integral part of the CIB Markets Technology team at J.P. Morgan. This role involves working with our cutting-edge Markets Data Analytics Lake, an AWS Data Lake implementation, and integrating a variety of AWS technologies with the JPMC Athena trading platform.

About the Role:

As a member of the Markets Data Lake & Markets Data Analytics platform team, your primary focus will be to design, build, deliver, and deploy high-performance applications that cater to the needs of our Markets Data Lake & Analytics use cases. You will engage in an agile, rapid-release development environment with a team spread across global locations including NYC, Buenos Aires, Mumbai, and London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy applications that support the architecture frameworks and data strategy of CIB Markets Technology.
• Engage in direct communication with users to collaboratively design and improve applications.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuously seek out ways to improve processes and solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
• Proven expertise in big data platforms, AWS engineering, or Databricks.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
