Job Summary

Spot by NetApp is looking for a hands-on Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of developers in developing and maintaining our product's infrastructure and technologies.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions based on microservices architecture, databases, and APIs that align with our business needs.
• Guide a team of developers to ensure timely and successful project completion.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing infrastructure, databases, and resilient scalable applications in a cloud environment. Experience with Elasticsearch and MySQL is a significant advantage. Familiarity with other data storage solutions and microservices architectures is highly desirable.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on team lead experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.).
• Deep understanding of databases and data collection processes.
• Experience with TimescaleDB, Elasticsearch, and MySQL is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
