Join Our Team as a GIS Administrator

Western Midstream is seeking a highly skilled Spatial Data Analyst to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. As a vital member of our Spatial Data team, you will leverage ESRI software to enhance our Geographic Information Systems (GIS) operations, ensuring efficiency and innovation in our processes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Spatial Data Team to adhere to WES survey data collection standards and processes.
  • Maintain high levels of data integrity, perform spatial data analysis, and manage data extraction and communication.
  • Develop business solutions to enhance field safety procedures across various teams.
  • Ensure consistent communication with corporate and field teams for data verification.
  • Assist in data management and support MOC updates with team members.
  • Lead data migration efforts and ensure compliance with Pipeline Data Compliance standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive data quality assessments and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
  • Maintain and validate geospatial datasets to ensure their accuracy and completeness.

Applicants should have experience with FME or Python and be proficient in Microsoft SharePoint with Power Automate.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in ESRI desktop software including ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro.
  • Adept at running geo-processing tools and performing data editing tasks.
  • Strong mapping and analytical skills with knowledge of ArcGIS Portal.
  • Familiarity with Model Builder, Python, Microsoft Office Suite, and Teams.
  • Ability with SharePoint and Power Automate considered a plus.
  • Outstanding communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Educational Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, or a related field is required. Advanced GIS certification is an advantage.
