Join our team as a Specialist Environmental Projects and Data Analyst
The Specialist Environmental Projects and Data Analyst is tasked with managing environmental data, ensuring data accuracy, and overseeing performance monitoring against sustainability targets. This role involves a deep commitment to environmental stewardship through the implementation of sustainability initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage both internal and external KPI reporting and data assurance tools for environment and climate change data on a global scale.
- Coordinate environmental data collection, conduct quality checks and analysis, and support external assurance processes for over 100 locations globally to meet quarterly reporting deadlines.
- Develop content for various reports including the annual Sustainability Report, CDP Climate Change, and CDP Water Security questionnaires.
- Provide data support to enhance the company’s sustainability and climate change reporting program, maintaining monitoring tools and reports.
- Collaborate across the full spectrum of sustainability initiatives to support local business goals, including providing training, tools, executing global programs, and assisting with project development related to water, waste, and emission reduction targets.
- Offer training support for global environment data providers on relevant tools and procedures.
- Participate in global, cross-functional sustainability committees to provide insights on sustainability progress against targets.
- Act as a subject matter expert for data assurance providers.
Your Skills
What We’re Looking For:
- Around 4 years of relevant experience.
- Preferably, a university degree related to environmental management.
- Advanced knowledge of carbon accounting procedures and standards (e.g., GHG Protocol).
- Advanced understanding of sustainability reporting standards, including CDP and GRI.
- Strong familiarity with environmental reporting procedures and data visualization techniques.
- Experience in environmental project management.
- Fluent in English.
