Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our competent Global Regulatory Affairs team at our Trostberg location. As a Specialist in Global Regulatory Affairs and Data Management, you will:
- Coordinate and implement the "REACH" requirements for European Sika sites.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document regulatory data using IT tools, dedicated software, and analysis tools.
- Maintain Sika's regulatory databases, observing legal deadlines.
- Prepare notification data to comply with regulatory obligations in relevant countries.
- Supervise and coordinate the use of governmental tools.
- Support local Sika companies in the regulatory product assessment of imported Sika products.
- Develop decision-making concepts for the global registration of relevant substances with affected country companies and global management functions, including target markets.
- Coordinate substance registrations to meet chemical regulatory requirements in the regions.
- Track volume updates of registered substances.
Qualifications
- Degree in Chemistry or equivalent education.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in independently managing cross-functional issues and projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience in international chemical legislation is preferable.
- Ability to comprehend complex information, such as different product technologies and international regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes and regulations/laws.
- Team-oriented with a high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are beneficial.
