Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer or Application Developer with extensive experience in Big Data and Data Analytics. The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech, B.Sc., or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field and have over 3 years of relevant industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support data pipelines and applications.
• Industrialize data pipelines for efficiency and scalability.
• Implement a continuous quality improvement process to systematically optimize data quality.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders including business and IT teams.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience in building robust ETL pipelines for both batch and streaming ingestion.
• Firm grounding in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Advanced level knowledge and commercial experience in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Experience interacting with RESTful APIs, including authentication via SAML and OAuth2.
• Proficient in test-driven development and CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of Git for source control management.
• Experience working in Agile environments, particularly Scrum frameworks like Jira.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Qlik.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry, AWS, or Snowflake is a major advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Statistics and Machine Learning.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
