Role Overview

As a Sr Data Engineer I, you will:

• Design, build, and test comprehensive data pipelines, handling data ingestion, integration, and curation across various formats.
• Develop and manage a high-performance data platform on the cloud, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Implement automation for routine data tasks and tests, optimizing data processes to support diverse workloads.
• Address real-time data needs for mission-critical applications, designing robust data frameworks for streamlined data ingestion and provision.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business partners, contributing to solution development and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead initiatives in data disaster recovery, risk management, and data system standards, ensuring data integrity and security.

What We Expect From You

• Proven expertise in Data Management and Data Analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with experience in retail or e-commerce environments.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience with Python, Pyspark, SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud computing platforms like Microsoft Azure.
• A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, with over 7 years of applied experience in agile practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related discipline.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple high-complexity projects.
