Role Summary

As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be pivotal in enhancing decision-making across our product and business divisions by harnessing actionable and reliable data. Owning your domain, you will collaborate with product and business managers and a skilled team of data professionals to manage the entire data lifecycle from logging to experimentation.

• Gaining an in-depth understanding of your area's product experiences and business processes.
• Building detailed knowledge of source data and data-generating systems through active engagement with engineering teams and thorough data profiling.
• Designing and maintaining robust data models to monitor performance and understand key drivers.
• Collaborating with teams to pinpoint vital questions answerable through data analysis.
• Providing impactful insights and recommendations by conducting deep analysis and automating reports.
• Designing and analyzing A/B and multivariate tests to enhance product offerings.
• Serving as a key resource in KPI development and goal-setting for product and business managers.
• Mentoring fellow data scientists and contributing to the enhancement of internal processes and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or a related field. A postgraduate degree is appreciated but not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience in data science and machine learning, preferably within an online consumer product environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
• High level of ownership and accountability with a commitment to delivering simplified solutions.
