Lead ML Developer Job Opportunity at Birlasoft

We are seeking an experienced and technically adept Lead Machine Learning Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience with real-world projects and a solid understanding of fundamental ML principles, rather than just surface-level techniques. A keen ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving AI landscape is essential.

Experience and Education Requirements

Experience: Preferably 10-15 years

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related fields

Work and Problem Space

The role will cover vast domains including manufacturing, life sciences, finance, and retail. You will tackle diverse business functions such as Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and HR.

Core Skills Preferred

• Application of Machine Learning and Data Science to solve complex problems
• Proficiency in statistical ML techniques, deep learning, computer vision, and NLP (deep knowledge in at least two of these four areas)
• Analyze, design, and develop sophisticated AI and ML models
• Model performance analysis using evidence-based and statistical methods
• Assist in the deployment and post-live monitoring of solutions

Technology Space

• Open Source: Python and R
• Coding Standards: PEP8 or Google Python standards
• Platforms: Expertise in at least one (Azure, Amazon, GCP, Databricks)
• Database Systems: Working knowledge of basic SQL-based RDBMS and NoSQL document databases like Elasticsearch and MongoDB
• Deployment Strategies: Familiarity with API and docker containers
