What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a competent and enthusiastic Staff Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The suitable candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in data engineering, exceptional problem-solving skills, a gift for logical reasoning, and a passion for tackling challenges directly. You will cooperate with cross-functional teams and play a central role in designing resilient, scalable data pipelines. If you are enthusiastic about working in an agile environment and have hands-on experience with the latest data engineering technologies, we welcome your application.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop physical/logical data models.
- Construct and maintain resilient and scalable data pipelines.
- Use Python programming for data engineering tasks.
- Implement NLP algorithms and apply them effectively.
- Employ PySpark, Apache Spark, and AWS stack for data processing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform.
- Use Snowflake for constructing ELT pipelines and work with dbt.
- Persistently optimize and update data engineering processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a field related.
- 5-8 years of overall experience in data engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
- A team player with outstanding communication prowess.
- Proven capacity to work in an agile environment.
- Familiarity with Snowflake for ELT pipelines and experience with dbt.
- Strong experience in designing and developing physical/logical data models.
