Job Responsibilities

• Provide strategic recommendations on data management and governance, ensuring the effective acquisition, maintenance, and utilization of data.
• Design and implement secure, stable, and scalable data collection, storage, and analytics solutions.
• Develop and maintain advanced data models using firm-wide tooling, linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms.
• Lead the definition and execution of database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
• Create functional and technical documentation that outlines best practices.
• Advise and mentor junior engineers and technologists on best practices and technologies.
• Evaluate access control processes to enhance data security across the organization.
• Contribute to a team culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in Data Analytics, coupled with practical experience.
• Proven experience with relational and SQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge in database backup, recovery, and archiving strategies.
• Deep understanding of linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms.
• Skilled in presenting and delivering visual data insights.
• Ability to optimize Tableau performance, including tuning workbooks and queries.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Server.
