The Role A Technical Data Analyst at Addepar is responsible for conducting data migration, data conversion, and data validation projects for our clients using existing tools and established procedures. The job will involve executing data projects, coordinating with internal project groups, meeting project timelines, and spotting opportunities to improve our tools and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial portfolio data, a basic level of python programming skills, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to deliver quality results within given deadlines. What You'll Do - Convert, migrate, and validate data from external or internal sources using existing tools with defined procedures and workflows - Finish data projects punctually, meeting project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards - Communicate regularly with project teams, providing updates and effectively setting expectations for assigned data projects - Run python ETL scripts, modifying, repairing, or debugging as necessary - Escalate key issues to project team members and senior leadership as needed - Effectively prioritize and switch contexts to complete multiple projects simultaneously, seeing each one through to the end - Adhere to standard project management processes - Identify and drive opportunities to improve current processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and automation Who You Are - Have at least 2 years of experience working in technology and finance - Fluent in English - Experienced in working with colleagues across multiple global locations - Proficient in Python programming language and familiar with ETL concepts - Understands financial markets and has experience with financial products and portfolio data - Excellent written and oral communication skills capable of conveying complex information clearly - Solution-oriented attitude and a passion for problem-solving - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to make processes more efficient - Positive attitude, strong work ethic, proactive, and a high contributing teammate - Independent, adaptable, and able to work with minimal supervision - Proven ability to manage expectations and provide regular updates to the project team and senior stakeholders Our Values - Act Like an Owner - Think and operate with intention, purpose, and care.
