The Opportunity

We are seeking individuals with 2 to 6 years of Data/ETL testing experience. As a Data Tester, you will be accountable and responsible for:

• Preparing test scenarios and scripts according to project requirements
• Executing technical, functional, and regression test cases
• Reporting and tracking defects and ensuring closure through the STLC process
• Participating in review and walkthrough meetings
• Understanding Data conversion & migration processes, Data warehouse, and BI reporting testing

Your Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

• Have a strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies
• Understand entire modules and their functionality through verification of functional specifications and style guides provided by clients
• Write and execute test cases and scripts for Data Testing
• Maintain Bug Reports and Delivery Notes
• Involve in Peer-Review, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing
• Attend review and walkthrough meetings
• Participate in status calls as needed to report testing progress

Skills and Attributes for Success

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• Proven experience as a data test engineer or ETL tester
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Redshift, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL
• A good understanding of cloud technology, preferably with AWS and/or Azure DevOps
• Experience in testing BI reports
• In-depth knowledge of data migration and conversion processes
• Experience in the GW DHIC model is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Practical experience with Agile testing approaches
