Position Summary

At Walmart, as a Senior Data Scientist, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our supply chain networks across the country. Your primary tasks will involve developing, enhancing, and maintaining accurate Transportation Forecasts. This role will require effective cross-functional collaboration with various data teams to synchronize demand signals and deliver comprehensive solutions. You will also design workload and capacity plans for diverse network areas to strategically guide business decisions on capacity management.

Qualifications

Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years' experience, or a Master’s degree and 1 year's experience, or 5 years' professional experience in analytics.

Preferred: Advanced skills in data science, machine learning, and familiarity with open-source frameworks like scikit learn, tensorflow, etc. Contributions to digital inclusivity and accessibility are highly valued.
