Job Description: Aladdin BA - Data and Interfaces
Job Purpose
The Data Analyst – Aladdin will play a crucial role in ensuring data configuration from the Early Win stage to Trade Services, IBOR record keeping, and Performance services for successful implementation.
Your Client Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
- Analyze and profile existing client systems data configuration to prepare data configuration templates/inputs for new systems as per client requirements and best practices, including clean-up activities
- Handle data topics relating to interface, logic/rule building, data flow (including scheduling/timing), and required data sources
- Active role in testing, parallel runs leading up to Go-Live, ensuring and verifying data quality per client expectations and TOM
- Close collaboration with Data Functional Lead, team members, stakeholders, users, and vendors for good quality data configuration
- Deliver good quality artefacts promptly to support stakeholder decision making
- Early identification of project risks
- Contingency and scenario planning
- Rapid resolution of issues

- Ensuring that project objectives and deliverables are met on time and in full
- Monitor project progress
- Interface with customer representatives as needed

Mandatory Skills
- Experience in financial services/capital markets with domain knowledge in different asset classes across front, middle, and back office for "buy" and "sell" side businesses
- Good knowledge of portfolio management, trade execution, data control, operations, and portfolio administration
- Techno-functional knowledge of Core Wealth/Asset management with exposure to at least one third-party package like Aladdin, Multifonds, Charles River, FNZ, SEI, or equivalent
- High-level understanding of data models and application/business architecture around packages
- Experience understanding client requirements and streamlining them for the team
- Understand high-level business requirements and relate them to package capabilities
- Define and validate customization needs for packages per client requirements
- Define and validate integration/data requirements for packages per client requirements
- Review client processes and workflows and recommend ways to maximize package benefits
- In-depth knowledge of CFA concepts like portfolio management, wealth planning, fixed income, equity, alternative investment, derivatives, etc.
- Excellent leadership and client-facing skills
- MBA/MCA/BE/B.Tech/equivalent with FIS product experience of 7+ years
Preferred Skills
- Prior client-facing experience
- 7+ years of experience in investment data teams or related projects covering market data, reference data, transaction data, and trade lifecycle data
- Familiarity with BlackRock’s Aladdin, BNY Mellon’s Eagle, Refinitiv, and Bloomberg data is an advantage
- Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, DB2 databases is a plus
