Salary: Starting at $6,688/month; Full Range $6,688 - $9,745

Role Summary:
This union position involves collaborating with the data team, analyzing data quality, and enhancing data elements within the Data Warehouse and Application Development structures. The role also requires understanding information systems issues with DoIT and attending continuing data analytics and visualization trainings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as B.H. Consent Decree Data Analyst
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate user data processing needs
  • Diagnose and enhance data quality within the Data Warehouse
  • Work with DoIT to resolve information systems issues
  • Travel to and attend data analytics and visualization trainings
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field with coursework in systems analysis, accounting, computer science, and statistics and two years of relevant professional experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a related field with coursework in systems analysis, computer science, and statistics and four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience solving complex management information system problems
  • 2 years of experience working with complex data and exercising judgment
  • 2 years of knowledge in organizational functions and information systems
  • 2 years of conducting complex management systems studies

Specialized Skills

  • 2 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or above
  • Experience with ETL using Microsoft SQL Server Integration, Analysis Services, SSRS or CrystalReports
  • 2 years of experience with Power BI or related visualization software
  • 1 year of experience creating data models in Power BI or related software

Conditions of Employment

  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to travel as required; valid driver's license
