Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Big Data and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain optimal data architecture and models across various data integration and warehousing projects in a GCP cloud environment.
• Implement solutions using Big Query SQL, Java/Python/Scala, and Spark to streamline processes and align with strategic goals.
• Manage technical solutions focusing on data pipeline architecture, ensuring scalability and efficiency across teams.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to a dynamic engineering team, enhancing their data engineering skills.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in GCP with at least 5-7 years of delivery experience in Dataproc, Dataflow, Big Query, Compute, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong foundation in ETL design principles and concepts, with solid programming skills in Python and experience in Scala.
• Experience in implementing Agile and DevOps methodologies in a test-driven development environment.
• Proficiency in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
