Join Our Team as a Data Analyst

Kin + Carta is excited to expand our capabilities team with a passionate, innovative Data Analyst. Note: this role requires onsite presence 5 days a week.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze raw data sets to create impactful solutions for large enterprise clients, maintaining rigorous scientific discipline.
• Engineer data pipelines and products to facilitate data-driven decisions and actions for stakeholders.
• Communicate analytical findings in an intuitive and compelling visual format.
• Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or custom web applications.
• Conduct in-depth analyses and design KPIs to guide business decisions and track success.
• Develop data infrastructure, software libraries, and APIs for BI and ML data pipelines.
• Architect components of cloud data platforms that enable the above functionalities.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, and risks effectively.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and conduct technical due diligence to design practical data-driven business solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

To join our team and thrive as a Data Analyst, you should have:

• Significant experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science projects OR a Bachelor's/Master's degree in quantitative fields such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or computation-intensive Sciences and Humanities.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R, from data ingestion to insight.

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in visualization/reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or programming visualization libraries like R ggplot2, Python matplotlib/seaborn/bokeh, JavaScript D3.
• Experience in big data environments and tools such as Spark, Hive, Impala, Pig, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture components (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with data pipeline software like Airflow, Luigi, or Prefect.
• Ability to distill raw data and ambiguous business questions into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Experience applying statistical and machine learning libraries, and leading data/analytics/machine learning projects.
