As a Data Analyst, you will provide valuable insights from the initial raw data files to ensuring the high-quality of data in our final deliverables.

In this position, you will be instrumental in orchestrating discussions with healthcare data carriers to efficiently manage data intake and confirm all client data requirements. Your expertise in data management and quality will reinforce our mission to uphold the highest standards of data security and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and sustain data quality and overall data management.
• Initiate and guide conversations with healthcare data carriers to manage data intake and align on client data needs.
• Document discussions, achieving agreements and signatures from clients and carriers.
• Conduct thorough data quality checks to ensure alignment with Healthcare Data Warehouse requirements.
• Develop specifications for transforming source data into target data warehouse structures.
• Collaborate with database programmers to scrutinize and modify coding, ensuring data comprehensiveness and accuracy.
• Utilize SQL for detailed data analysis and root cause identification of data issues.
• Support the Engineering/Tools team by defining functional specifications for new business requirements.
• Drive the transition of internal processes from manual to automated systems through adept coding and programming.
• Accomplish all tasks as outlined in the annual Performance Plan and handle special projects and duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in healthcare data analysis with profound data manipulation prowess using database applications and spreadsheet tools.
• A minimum of 2 years in the Healthcare or Insurance sectors, specifically within Data Warehouse operations, with extensive knowledge of healthcare enrollment, medical claims, and drug claims data. Familiarity with non-traditional data types like health & wellness, workforce productivity, and EMR is advantageous.
• Proficiency in SQL and other data analysis tools is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills enhanced by the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach, capable of working both independently and within a team.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project).
