About the Team

The Data Team at Dialpad is a synergy of business acumen and advanced analytics expertise, tasked with constructing and enhancing our comprehensive data architecture. This includes data ingestion frameworks, Data Observability, Quality, Anomaly Detection, Data Lakes/Warehouses, and extensive BI and reporting systems. Our team is pivotal in leveraging data to drive decision-making across various functions like Finance, Product, Marketing, and Growth, ensuring high data availability and integrity through state-of-the-art automated solutions.

Your Role as Data Analyst

Located in Bangalore, India, this Data Analyst position requires a proficient individual ready to engage deeply with data, providing actionable insights across multiple sectors of the organization. You will be instrumental in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to uncover trends and opportunities that significantly impact business pathways. The role entails creating sophisticated Data Visualization dashboards, rigorous SQL query development, and converting intricate metrics into accessible insights.

This role involves collaboration with teams based in the USA, Argentina, and Canada, and reports to the Sr. Manager of Data Engineering in Bangalore. You are expected to be in the office at least two days a week for effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure data integrity through meticulous cleaning and preprocessing of data from diverse sources.
• Develop and manage detailed data reports and presentation materials to outline critical findings and actionable insights.
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support robust decision-making processes.
• Create and maintain intuitive dashboards and visualizations that succinctly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to comprehend business needs and deliver comprehensive data-driven solutions.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in the technology sector.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Proven proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Domo, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a solid understanding of data analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience in managing projects with agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools.
• Preferred experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, and specific tools such as GCP, BigQuery.
