Role within the Office of MaineCare Services:

The selected Data Analyst will be a pivotal part of the OMS Data Analytics team. Main responsibilities include analyzing healthcare and financial data, updating and conducting reports influencing MaineCare service delivery, reform initiatives, and quality assessments.

• Analyze large-scale data sets and create insightful reports and visualizations.
• Maintain, develop, and review SQL queries and reports to support decision-making.
• Validate data and quality assurance of reports and deliverables.
• Communicate analytical findings effectively in various formats.

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants should have at least six years of relevant professional experience or a combination of education and experience in analyzing and developing organizational systems. Proficiency in analytical software, understanding of Medicaid or health and human services, and a strong background in data visualization and SQL are highly desirable.
