Job Purpose and Goals:

As a Data Analyst within our Risk & Fraud division, your insights will play a crucial role in sculpting fraud mitigation strategies. You will leverage extensive datasets to distil actionable intelligence, collaborating with diverse teams to fortify our systems against risks including payment fraud and marketplace anomalies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret patterns related to Risk/Fraud behaviors to enhance detection models and features.
• Manage and refine fraud rules reacting to new and evolving threats.
• Generate impactful insights from voluminous data sets and formulate strategies to curtail fraudulent undertakings.
• Guide ongoing analytics independently to continually improve the feedback to our models.
• Engage in periodic business reviews, identifying and remedying gaps in current systems and policies.
• Lead multiple initiatives aimed at boosting the efficacy of our fraud deterrence frameworks and practices.
• Foster strong cross-functional linkages with Product, Policy, Legal, Engineering, and additional teams within foodpanda.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years of expertise in data analysis or related field using analytical tools (SQL, Python, BI dashboards).
• Proven track record in project management, exhibiting stellar skills in structured thinking, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communicational prowess to articulate technical details effectively across various teams.
• Proficient in navigating complex, rapidly evolving business scenarios.
