Role and Responsibilities

As a GBS Material Master Data (MDM) Analyst, you will:

  • Manage and prioritize GBS MDM Service Now, EFLOW, and Syndigo requests, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal ERP system customers to resolve daily production and logistics issues and update master data.
  • Coordinate and complete master data uploads, resolving processing/reporting issues within the MDM team.
  • Implement item master data transactions, including creating, amending, and extending materials, source lists, purchase info records, and manufacturing elements.
  • Develop training materials, documentation, and conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Participate in data harmonization activities and MDM process improvement workshops.
  • Maintain MDM Standard Operating Procedures and Data Dictionary, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Define and document global MDM processes, implementing quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct master data audits and cleansing activities, providing training to local Data Stewards of BAU countries.
  • Participate in annual product reviews and master data projects as a domain expert.
  • Run and develop Winshuttle scripts and utilize Master Data management tools and applications such as IDQ, Embarcadero, Winshuttle, EFLOW, Appian, Service Now, Syndigo, and Alation.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a data management role.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data management and/or governance.
  • Experience with Material master data (e.g., raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods).
  • Experience with SAP/MS Dynamics Axapta systems and mass uploads.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and standard processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Informatica, Winshuttle, MS Excel, Business Objects, SAP SQVI, Power BI, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with remote teams and senior leadership.
  • Recognized expertise in data management and data quality within the region.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data analysis abilities.
  • Experience working across multiple source systems, including various SAP versions, Axapta, Eflow, Matrix, Movex, etc.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
