Your Tasks
As a Manager Strategic Data Analyst at Knorr-Bremse AG, you will play a crucial role in integrating advanced digitalization technologies across our business units. Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as a liaison and facilitator for the adoption of digital technologies.
- Helping to establish a central advisory unit focused on knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Leading digitalization initiatives and measuring their impact on the company.
- Developing and presenting new technological experiments in collaboration with the KB IT team.
- Enhancing transparency and managing change successfully across platforms and teams.
- Participating in the development and deployment of internal communication strategies related to digital transformation.
- Advocating for and nurturing ongoing dialogue between digital teams and various organizational units.
- Supporting KB IT with their data-driven projects and requirements.
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, STEM, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analysis, modeling, and reporting, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience working with SAP and familiarity with Python and SQL for data transformation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- A solid understanding of statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and machine learning techniques.
- Expertise in data visualization utilizing tools such as Matplotlib or Power BI.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex data issues in simple terms.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with a strong inclination to drive data-driven business solutions.
- A naturally curious mind eager to explore data and uncover new insights.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments.
