Our Seismic Information Management Team (SIM) here is eagerly looking for dynamic individuals to support our geoscientists by providing top-notch seismic data support.

Your Role as a Seismic Data Analyst

As a Seismic Data Analyst at our Puerto Madero office, you'll manage and analyze 2D/3D/4D seismic data to enhance operational effectiveness. Your role includes conditioning seismic traces, developing seismic projects for geoscientists, and optimizing workflows to enhance data quality and efficiency. You'll also collaborate with IT, Geoscience, and vendors to enhance the seismic data life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability in geological interpretations critical for successful drilling.

• Prepare and manage seismic projects according to corporate standards and timelines.

• Improve data quality through scripting and automation, integrating data smoothly across systems.

• Oversee the accuracy and completeness of vendor deliverables related to seismic data.

• Develop and implement data visualization and metrics for strategic insights.

About You

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences or a related field and have at least two years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English, along with in-depth knowledge of seismic processing and interpretation techniques, is required. Experience with Petrel/Studio, SEG-Y, and ArcGIS is essential. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders are also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)

• SQL expertise

• Basic Linux OS knowledge
