Role Overview:
As a key player in Bird's Data Team, the Senior Data Analyst is vital in shaping the future of our products and strategies. You will be directly embedded with a product team, working closely with a designated stakeholder to strategize and execute a data-driven roadmap that supports robust business growth and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and share insights on how users engage with our products and marketplace.
- Collaborate with the Product Team to define, analyze, and monitor key metrics that gauge product success and health.
- Design and implement experiments alongside Engineering and Data Science teams to drive product adoption and growth.
- Develop comprehensive data strategies and conduct complex A/B and multivariate testing.
- Create impactful dashboards and reports to communicate the status of our business, operational performances, and growth opportunities.
- Leverage data to influence product direction and strategies through detailed reports and presentations.
- Design and write ETLs to streamline data accessibility for internal usage.
- Model, retrieve, compile, and analyze large data sets to convert them into actionable insights.
- Advocate for rigorous analytical methodologies and data-driven decision-making across teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics or Finance.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience leveraging data to drive business or product decisions.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and either R or Python for data manipulation and visualization.
- Proven track record of analytical roles in the US or Canada, with at least 5-6 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant fields.
- Experience in designing and analyzing randomized control trials.
- Skilled in managing experimentation roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and proactive in team collaborations and project management.
