About the Customer Success Team
Mixpanel’s Customer Success and Solutions Engineering teams are dedicated analytics consultants. We integrate with our enterprise customer teams to drive their business results. We collaborate with prospects and customers throughout their journey, serving as the technical counterpart to our Sales organization. Our goal is to ensure successful deployments of self-serve analytics, change management, and execution of technical projects to enhance customer ROI. You will work closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, Product, Engineering, and Support teams to deliver value to our customers.
About the Role
As a Customer Success Architect (CSA), you will guide customers through their journey to maximize the value of Mixpanel. Your focus will be on clients in the Greater China Region (Hong Kong, Taiwan). Responsibilities include pre-sales proof of concepts, post-sales onboarding, scalable implementation, and data governance best practices. You will support customers through the entire lifecycle, driving business value, managing change, defining ROI, and optimizing their analytics usage.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor providing strategic consultation on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels to influence business outcomes via Mixpanel and design comprehensive analytics strategies.
- Manage customer success by delivering consistent ROI and transforming their business with self-serve analytics.
- Oversee onboarding and data health for strategic and high-value customers, integrating Mixpanel with their tech stack.
- Engage with customers’ engineering, product management, and marketing teams for technical onboarding and data optimization.
- Provide technical services ranging from data architecture consultations to adoption and change management practices.
- Leverage modern data architecture expertise to create scalable data governance practices and data trust.
- Bridge the technical-business gap by working with business stakeholders to define and execute a strategic vision for Mixpanel.
- Collaborate with technical and solutions partners for data optimization and onboarding projects.
- Prioritize client product and systems tasks through internal Mixpanel engagements.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in consulting to define and deliver ROI through new tool implementations.
- Experience working with VP-level customer organization members to define and deliver on strategic visions.
- Strong ability to communicate with all organizational levels, from developers to C-suite executives.
- Proficiency in data querying, modeling, and transforming with tools like SQL, dbt, Python, BI tools, or Product Analytics tools.
- Familiarity with databases and cloud data warehouses such as Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of product analytics implementations via SDKs, Customer Data Platforms, Event Streaming, Reverse ETL, etc.
- Expertise in analytics best practices across various business segments and verticals.
- Experience managing complex projects with diverse client stakeholders.
- Success in customer-facing professional services, customer success, consulting, or technical project management roles.
- Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong process or project delivery discipline.
- Ability and eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving customer needs.
- Fluency in business Mandarin, with Cantonese as a plus.
