Data Operations Manager

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and bright mind to help us revolutionize brand marketing. The perfect candidate should possess a natural talent for uncovering narratives within data, a keen interest in our customer verticals, and the drive to make a substantial impact.

As a key member of the Data Operations team, you will oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data to ensure it is accurate and accessible. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our internal brand and creator data, and for communicating high-level insights to the broader team.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Become proficient in our internal software tool, using it to provide data for internal research, client reporting, and external marketing publications.
  • Collaborate seamlessly across internal teams, including Customer Success, Engineering, and Product, to answer data-related questions, diagnose data issues, and improve internal processes and dashboards.
  • Support client-facing teams like Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, and Marketing in delivering custom reporting and analysis. Create and deliver common data reporting outputs as needed.
  • Delve into the brand database and proactively seek ways to enhance tagging, categorization, and expansion.
  • Manage a small team of Data Operations associates and specialists, prioritizing and overseeing projects.
  • Oversee brand database management and expansion, refining processes in fast-growing verticals such as wellness, food and drink, and gaming.
  • Work with the Product team to highlight common requests in-platform.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Analytics, or a similar customer-focused, data-centric field.
  • 1-2+ years of management experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex functions and pivot tables.
  • The ability to identify data trends, translate and convey those trends, and provide advice on client and external deliverables.
  • A passion for influencer marketing and the broader marketing and media landscape, with an interest in fields like pop culture, beauty, fashion, or wellness.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise messages through emails, video calls, and asynchronous tools (e.g., Slack, Notion).
  • Self-motivation, active listening skills, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in SQL and GraphQL is a plus.
