Join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a Staff/Tech Lead Data Engineer and play a crucial role in enhancing the company’s growth through data-driven insights. We're looking for someone who prefers using off-the-shelf tools over coding and enjoys solving challenges through streamlined data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finalization of SentinelOne’s Business Data Ecosystem, including data standardization and enabling self-service analytics.
  • Create data models and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs).
  • Develop analytics workflows based on requirements from data analysts and internal business partners.
  • Integrate new data sources into the Business Data Ecosystem, prioritizing non-coding solutions first.
  • Ensure data governance policies are adhered to and collaborate on new data governance technologies and capabilities.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders such as product teams, data scientists, and various internal functions to gather requirements and deliver business value.
  • Utilize your GCP expertise to streamline and unlock data value, expanding your experience and expertise in delivering business value via industry-best tools.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and solutions for identified gaps.
  • Work with large-scale data sets, reaching into hundreds of petabytes.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities, data infrastructure, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency with data ingestion & schema standardization, event, batch, and streaming models, data warehousing, and analytics optimization for BigQuery.
  • Ability to build distributed, fault-tolerant systems and ensure backward compatibility to avoid downtime.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Strong teamwork and collaborative skills, along with an open-minded approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience with BigQuery, data ingestion tools (e.g., Nexla, Fivetran, Qlik Replicate), data modeling, Google data storage technologies, and data access control implementations.
  • Experience with event-based architecture for orchestration of data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Continual learning mentality and documentation excellence.
  • Exceptional communication skills, change management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a flexible approach to solution identification.
  • Big data experience with petabytes scale data sets is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau and Looker is a plus.

What We Offer:

Salary starting from 4000 EUR/month. Yearly performance-based bonuses, paid in 2 installments. The final base salary may increase based on individual skills and experience.
