Qualifications

You Have:

• Proficiency in Python and C programming
• Experience in machine learning, including Bayesian methods
• Knowledge of adversarial machine learning or differential privacy
• Strong background in mathematics and statistics, including probability theory, statistical inference, algorithms, linear algebra, and calculus
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computers Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a data science role, or a Master’s degree in the same fields with 3+ years of relevant experience

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in machine learning applications such as computer vision, natural language processing, and learning on graphs
• Familiarity with Bayesian deep learning and Gaussian processes
• Experience building complex data pipelines
• Experience utilizing GPUs for machine learning with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to work independently on advanced tasks

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, experience, and organizational needs. The compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD), part of Booz Allen Hamilton’s total compensation package.
