Role Overview: AI/ML Engineer - SaMD System Engineering & Design Quality - CDH - Remote

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will navigate from ideation to production, mastering the full spectrum of the AI lifecycle. Your deep understanding of clinical environments and workflows empowers you to develop AI solutions tailored to the real needs of healthcare providers and patients. From handling massive healthcare data sets, including patient records and medical imaging, to refining software components, you ensure our solutions not only meet clinical needs but are also robust, safe, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows, enhancing both patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into actionable design specifications.
  • Apply advanced ML techniques like deep learning and NLP to craft cutting-edge solutions for healthcare challenges.
  • Drive the engineering of systems essential for AI solution deployment, focusing on sustainability and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement by developing tools and practices for automated AI software releases.

Qualifications:

  • Required: A Master’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related fields with 1+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years, or 7+ years with an HS Diploma/GED. Demonstrated experience in deploying AI/ML in production settings, especially in healthcare.
  • Preferred: PhD in a relevant field, expertise in state-of-the-art ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and deep knowledge of healthcare systems and data.
