Key Responsibilities:

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

  • Convert deep learning models from PyTorch and other frameworks to the Apple-friendly Core ML format.
  • Run benchmarks and analyze the impact of model execution performance across Apple’s neural engine, GPU, and CPU.
  • Guide the integration and optimization of ML models, ensuring high performance with low latency and efficient memory use.
  • Develop and refine tools within the open-source CoreMLTools community, collaborating with top industry professionals.
  • Create robust documentation and demonstrations to guide and inspire developers globally.

Key Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • Strong foundational knowledge of machine learning, including the latest model architectures and operations.
  • Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow (TF), or JAX, with hands-on experience in computational graphs.
  • Robust Python coding skills, C++ is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience in model deployment and optimization with a track record of developing public APIs.
  • Passion for contributing to and engaging with the open-source ML community.

About Our Team:

We are responsible for developing Core ML Tools, an innovative open-source Python library. If you’re passionate about manipulating computational graphs, optimizing machine learning models for on-device execution, and collaborating across an innovative tech community, you'll thrive in our dynamic environment.

Education & Experience:

A minimum requirement of a BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with at least 2 years of relevant industry experience. Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are preferable and will be considered favorably.

Compensation and Benefits:

At Apple, we recognize the importance of rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication. Salaries range between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00 depending on experience and location.
