Job Description

At Apple, our goal is to design and build infrastructures that support features empowering billions of users. Our team processes trillions of links to ensure the best content is surfaced through search. We analyze pages to extract crucial features for indexing and ranking, applying statistical analysis to enhance link selection, freshness, retrieval rates, and extraction quality. Here, you'll handle large-scale systems with trillions of rows and petabytes of complex data.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (GenAI), and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Proven track record of driving projects from inception to market launch
• Strong background in designing and architecting scalable user-facing products
• Exceptional coding skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with petabyte-scale data processing and building data pipelines
• Proficient in AWS Services including Amazon S3, EC2, EKS/Kubernetes
• Skilled in designing and building scalable distributed services
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and tools
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education & Experience

MS or PhD in Computer Science or related field

Compensation & Benefits

At Apple, your base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package that supports growth and career development. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800 and $364,100, dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
