Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and enhance computer vision capabilities.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to implement and optimize computer vision models.
- Define innovative approaches for computer vision algorithms and models, such as image classification, face recognition, object detection, and more.
- Conduct thorough evaluation and analysis of algorithms and models.
- Work with large-scale datasets to analyze and propose changes to the Siri user experience.
- Ensure data quality throughout acquisition and processing stages.
- Define and measure online and offline end-to-end metrics to iterate on models and predictors.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning with a focus on computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- In-depth knowledge of computer vision algorithms, including image processing and convolutional neural networks (CNNs).
- Experience with large-scale datasets for training and evaluation of models.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multi-functional team.
- Knowledge of applied statistics and experiment design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with A/B testing, causal analysis, and cohort analysis.
- Understanding of model interpretability techniques.
- Domain knowledge in Conversational AI.
- Experience with end-to-end pipelines and crowd-sourced data labeling.
Pay & Benefits
Apple offers a competitive base pay ranging from $170,700 to $300,200, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
