Role Overview

We’re seeking an exceptional Engineering Program Manager with a solid track record in overseeing highly cross-functional projects infused with advanced machine learning technologies. This pivotal role drives quality enhancements for products used by over a billion customers, upholding the superior user experience that Apple is known for.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in leading large-scale, machine learning-driven programs
• Proven program management skills, including structuring and managing multiple interdependent work streams
• Experience in orchestrating the delivery of significant client/server software products within large organizations (100+ personnel)
• Strong analytical mindset with a curiosity to uncover impactful opportunities through data-driven insights
• Excellent communication skills, proficient in negotiation, presentation, and influence

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project timelines, addressing risks and alignments across various organizational teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish essential human annotation requirements
• Coordinate with data science and engineering teams to innovate data collection and evaluation procedures
• Optimize human data collection and evaluation efforts in partnership with annotation operation teams
• Ensure the development of safe data collection protocols in collaboration with engineering, privacy, and legal teams
• Assist research teams in crafting long-term evaluation strategies

Education & Experience

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Pay & Benefits

Apple offers a competitive compensation package including a salary range from $152,400 to $268,200, based on expertise and location. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement options, employee stock purchase plans, and education reimbursement, among others. Additionally, employees may be eligible for bonuses, commission payments, and relocation assistance.
