Position Overview:

Apple is on the lookout for a talented Software Engineer to help build and enhance distributed multi-tiered data orchestration services crucial for our Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning systems. This role is designated for our innovative A.I. Machine Learning Platform & Infrastructure team. It offers a competitive salary ranging from $170,700 to $300,200, with substantial growth opportunities as you advance within your role.

What You'll Do:

As part of Apple's AMIL team, you will take full responsibility for multiple aspects of our service features, from conception to deployment. You'll engage in:

• Architecting, implementing, and maintaining scalable applications and web services.
• Applying advanced techniques in concurrent and distributed systems programming.
• Pushing the limits of coding practices and software design to ensure excellence.
• Handling the complete lifecycle of software features and improvements.

Who You Are:

We require a proactive problem solver with:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient experience with Rust, including asynchronous programming, concurrent programming, and distributed system concepts.
• A strong inclination towards developing high-quality, maintainable software.

Non-essential but beneficial qualifications include:

• Experience with Kubernetes, Linux internals, blob storage solutions, and distributed databases.
• Background in using backend technologies and in-depth understanding of storage systems.
