Job Description

The successful candidate will support Colgate’s data management processes and standard reporting. Responsibilities include conducting initial analysis of reports for various Colgate business functions at global, division, and country cluster levels.

Essential skills include effective written and oral communication with business stakeholders, internal IT partners, and external strategic partners. Applicants should be analytical thinkers capable of managing large data sets, detail-oriented problem solvers, collaborative, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Create standard reports per SLAs and respond to ad hoc requests for first-level analysis.
• Support market data harmonization across all CP countries and categories, working with external strategic partners.
• Manage market data validation processes and tools, investigating significant discrepancies.
• Communicate and coordinate with divisions and subsidiaries to resolve data discrepancies.
• Update and manage master data sets.
• Assist with change management needs during the roll-out and ongoing support of market data reporting tools and processes.
• Collaborate with business partners across multiple geographies.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Proficiency in data processing & visualization tools (R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Big Query, Google Data Studio, DOMO, Sigma).
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, including standard functions (aggregation, pivots, lookups).
• Comfortable with large data sets and meticulous about accuracy.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong listening and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with third-party data, such as syndicated market data and Point of Sales.
• Familiarity with the consumer packaged goods industry.
• Willingness to experiment with new tools and techniques.
• Good facilitation and project management skills.
• Ability to maintain composure and tactfully handle difficult situations.
