About the Role: Analytics Engineer – Finance & Fintech

We're excited to offer an opportunity to talented analytics professionals in Helsinki, Stockholm, or Berlin. As part of Wolt's esteemed Finance and Fintech Analytics team, you will dive deep into financial data to optimize compliance and business insights. This role places you at the heart of our financial operations, working alongside our dedicated data analysts and engineers to enhance our financial strategies and decisions.

Team & Position Description

Analytics at Wolt is integral, encompassing Analytics Engineering, Data Science, and Data Analytics with over 60 skilled professionals. Our Finance and Fintech Analytics team focuses on delivering precise insights by critically analyzing finance-related data and fintech services. Your role as an Analytics Engineer will involve close collaboration with Product Leads, Software Engineers, Finance Managers, and External Consultants to support and guide financial decision-making.

What You Will Do:

• Create and manage datasets and perform data wrangling to ensure accuracy.
• Develop intuitive data visualizations and dashboards that significantly impact business decisions.
• Contribute to various projects, enhancing our financial and tech-driven initiatives across the company.

Who We Are Looking For:

If you have a robust analytical background and are proficient in SQL, ETL tools like Airflow or dbt, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker, we would love to hear from you. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics engineering and possess the ability to convey complex data in a clear, concise manner to influence senior leadership.

Fintech experience is a plus but not necessary – we're keen on teaching eager learners who are passionate about data and finance!
