Join JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Applied AI/ML Lead

Are you passionate about solving complex business problems using advanced AI/ML algorithms? Join us as an Applied AI/ML Lead and leverage your expertise to develop, test, and evaluate impactful solutions. You'll work with a rich data pool from internal and external sources, using Python/Spark via AWS and other systems. You will be responsible for driving the project lifecycle and delivering significant results.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand complex business problems and identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
• Collaborate with business partners to drive data-led transformations.
• Own the machine learning development lifecycle and execute crucial project milestones.
• Lead all stages of the model development process, including data wrangling, model training, testing, and selection.
• Generate meaningful insights from data analysis and present them effectively to various audiences.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Partner with machine learning engineers to deploy solutions.
• Maintain models and lead remediation actions as necessary.
• Stay updated on AI/ML/LLM/GenAI research trends and maintain a continuous-improvement mindset.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics).
• At least 5 years of experience in the applied AI/ML domain.
• Extensive expertise with ML projects, including both supervised and unsupervised models.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent languages.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets and solving complex data issues.
• Experience with analytical toolkits such as SQL, Spark, Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, graph analytics, and neural networks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience with machine learning engineering and implementing ML models within AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry.
