Note: We operate as an in-office company, requiring you to work from an Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our applied machine learning team. In this role, you will implement and productionize cutting-edge research across our core product pillars. Your contributions will direct one of the teams ensuring Applied Intuition remains the most advanced vehicle software supplier to major OEMs. You will collaborate with a team of exceptional software and machine learning engineers, revolutionizing user interaction with vehicles. As a Technical Lead at Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Set the technical direction for integrating the latest advancements in machine learning into our products.
  • Mentor engineers across the team and the company on building strong ML foundations.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify additional areas across our product suite where generative AI can add significant value.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, robotics, or related fields from a top institution.
  • 4+ years of experience with modern ML techniques, including but not limited to transformer-based models, reconstruction algorithms, diffusion, and multi-modal models.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working directly with end users.
  • Peer-reviewed research presented at leading machine learning conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICML, ICLR, ICCV/ECCV, IROS, ICRA.
  • Experience developing software for technical end users.
  • A Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, physics, robotics, or related fields.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $204,000 - $343,000 USD annually. This range is an estimate, with the actual salary subject to the Company's compensation practices.
