Job Opportunity: Associate Director - Azure Cloud Solution Architect at KPMG India

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as an Associate Director - Azure Cloud Solution Architect. If you have extensive experience in rapid development and prototyping, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in cloud architecture, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of rapid prototyping development projects.
• Engage with project stakeholders, developers, clients, and software users to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Develop full-stack cloud architecture for lifecycle management, defining components either sourced externally or built in-house.
• Create architectural patterns and reusable solutions for common problems in software architecture.
• Utilize best practices in design patterns to solve application or system-level problems.
• Guide and inspire small, focused teams in building initial models and prototypes until the final product is client-ready.
• Ensure rapid construction and integration of applications using low-code, no-code, and other rapid application development tools.
• Oversee finalizing and packaging products, readying them for launch and full-scale testing.
• Reduce risks and costs by identifying risks early and developing effective mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 15 to 20 years of experience in developing and architecting enterprise-class, distributed software solutions.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless deployments, including Azure Containers and AKS.
• Expertise in Big Data solutions on Azure, delivering data pipelines with tools like Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Power Apps and low-code platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian, and Out Systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge in data management, ETL processes, data warehouse transformation, and designing performant data ingestion pipelines using technologies like Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
• Demonstrated understanding of public cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience in setting up continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, capable of effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority.

Educational Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience (15 to 20+ years) in technology implementation.
• Technical or Professional Certification in relevant domains (development, test, deployment technologies, project management) preferred.

Travel may be required as necessary (post-COVID).
