Job Description

Strategic Data Leadership: Drive the vision and rollout of a comprehensive data management and analytics strategy that not only aligns with our ambitious corporate goals but also makes a tangible, real-world difference.

Data Governance: Take charge of data modeling, master data management, and crafting policies and procedures that uphold data integrity, quality, and security, including data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Data Lifecycle Management: Oversee and enhance the management of data lifecycle processes, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, optimized storage, and effective utilization conforming to strategic objectives.

Data Architecture: Spearhead the design and refinement of our organizational data framework on AWS to ensure it is robust, scalable, and efficient.

Compliance and Risk Management: Guarantee adherence to pertinent data protection laws and proactively assess potential data-related risks.

Technology and Vendor Management: Evaluate cutting-edge data management and analytics tools and technologies to boost data processing and analytical capabilities. Also, manage and cultivate productive relationships with external vendors supplying technological solutions.

Collaboration: Work seamlessly across departments to align and tailor the data strategy to meet varying needs, anchoring the data function as a vital pillar within the organization.

Change Management: Lead the charge in implementing transformative data-related changes, ensuring smooth transitions and steadfast alignment with broader organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in data management and analytics, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role. Demonstrable expertise in the implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies in AWS environments is essential. Our ideal candidate will be proficient in Data Governance, Data Modeling, Data Security, MDM, and Denodo, with experience in Industrial IoT and Data Science use cases. Knowledge in the Manufacturing sector, especially in lighting or similar domains, or IoT-related domains, is highly desirable.
