Job Overview

CTG is actively seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our client’s team in Rochester, MN. This professional opportunity involves designing and building back-end services for data-centric clinical and analytic applications. Leveraging advanced technologies such as cloud computing, big data, mobile solutions, data science, data warehousing, and machine learning, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring applications meet uptime, accuracy, resilience, and scalability targets. This role requires close collaboration with various teams including data engineering, platform, and solutions to deliver optimal services for our practice and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect research automation solutions for various business processes.
• Develop efficient, scalable, and reliable automation workflows using RPA technologies and scripting languages.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to understand automation needs.
• Work on deployment automation/configuration management with tools like ADO, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Azure Pipelines, CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and source code.
• Conduct expert-level troubleshooting and resolve issues through root cause analysis.
• Communicate effectively with peers, leaders, and customers organization-wide.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation design and architecture with RPA tools and scripting languages.
• At least 2 years of experience developing RPA solutions with UIPath.
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages such as Go, Python, and Java.
• Experience integrating automation with various systems using APIs, web services, and databases.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and Agile development practices.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with low-code/no-code platforms like Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Certification in RPA tools, low-code/no-code platforms, or scripting languages.
• Experience designing automation solutions for the healthcare industry.

Salary & Benefits

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $68.00 to $77.00 per hour, based on a variety of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and market factors. In addition to the salary, CTG offers a competitive benefits package.
