Primary Responsibilities:

Seeking a skilled Azure Big Data Engineer with 4-6 years of relevant IT experience, with specific expertise and hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Successfully implemented at least 2 end-to-end Hadoop projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience on MS-Azure platforms including HDInsights and Databricks.
• At least 4 years working with SparkCore, PySpark, Scala, Hive, HBase, and SparkSQL.

Secondary Skills:

• Over 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability in working with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Blob, ADLS.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as HBase, CosmosDB.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Engineering (BE), Master in Computer Applications (MCA), M.Tech, or MS in relevant fields.

Desirable Skills:

• Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Deep knowledge of unit testing methodologies and frameworks.
