Job Description: Azure Data Engineer | 3 to 6 years | PAN India

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong background in SSAS Tabular Model, DAX queries, and query optimization. The ideal candidate should excel in resolving performance issues, database tuning, and data replication techniques using Microsoft SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

The role involves working with:

• SSAS Tabular Model and DAX queries
• Database tuning and performance optimization
• Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Data Warehousing (including creating Facts, Dimensions, etc.)

Additional expertise required includes:

• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Azure Databricks (ADB)
• Azure Synapse, T-SQL, Azure SQL Data Warehouse (DWH)
• Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and SparkSQL/PySpark

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with the following is considered a plus:

• Microsoft Fabric
• Writing ADB/Synapse notebooks
• Azure Functions
• Azure Streaming Analytics
• Document DB (or Cosmos DB)
• SQL Master Data Services (MDS)
• Graph DB

Desired Qualities:

The candidate must possess:

• Excellent Business Intelligence skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional analytical skills
• Proficiency in reporting and/or visualization
