Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an asset. You should bring a proven background in data engineering, specifically within a Microsoft Azure cloud-based environment. Key skills include:

• Azure Data Platform – Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks
• Data processing and programming – ETL/ELT, Python/Pyspark, SQL including Mongo DB and Azure Cosmos DB
• BI Tools – Proficiency in POWER BI is crucial
• Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and Big Data Technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Database Management – Strong command over SQL, NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Additionally, a robust understanding of data security and compliance is essential. Our ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to work independently, collaborate effectively in a team, and possesses a strong foundation in cloud services and tools, such as Azure or Google Cloud.
